Following the proclamation in November 2010 of new oil
exploitation in Block 6 a fenced oil camp was discovered
close to border between Northern and Southern Darfur. The camp appears to be
fenced by three ramparts. Initial work on the camp could already be observed in
July 2010 and seems to be completed in November-December 2010. Furthermore,
expansion of oil roads has taken place in late 2010.
